1. Our goal is to inspire individuals within the hospitality industry to be a leader by taking the initiative to provide for and sustain a safe and healthy community environment through the responsible serving of alcohol.
2. NLA provides up-to-date educational resources and cutting-edge tools through partnerships with non-profit organizations, (higher) educational institutions, non-profit organizations and government entities on a local, state and federal level to facilitate a positive impact on the well-being of our communities. |
Our History
National Licensing Association was founded to positively impact society by providing thoughtful and comprehensive training with regards to the safe and knowledgeable service of alcohol. The founders noticed, while working in the industry, that there existed a profound lack of appreciation for the significant role that each employee played in ensuring the safety of not only their customers but the community as well.
With this in mind NLA formed in 2006 to enhance the overall well-being of these communities by encompassing the latest research in our curriculum, forming community partnerships and by cooperating with the government to enhance the effectiveness of extant programs. |
